please be welcomed to pose any questions and i will draw upon my personal knowledge, experience and my resources to answer fully.
remember that there, of course, is always a place for modern medicine and there are health issues that do warrant man made medication. this forum is not intended to replace required medical attention. while your doctor probably has little knowledge about herbs, it is his job to know the drugs he prescribes and contra-indications of them. listen carefully to this list. i have noticed that, often, the tendancy of doctors would be to suggest you do not use any herbs "just in case". i don't agree with that. you need to become an expert on the medicine you take and it's contra-indications and not rely on the doctor to be your personal encyclopedia. doctors are humans and can only store so much information. it is not necessarily in their field of study to know about natural remedies.
i call my line of herbals "TAKE CHARGE TEA". herbal tea is a way to begin to TAKE CHARGE of your own health. this is a great way to begin the trend of self empowerment about your health. this is a safe, nutritious way to begin preventing future health issues. drinking herbal tea is a way to nourish many of your physical systems while treating one symptom. that is the lovely effect of natural plant medicine. while you support one organ, you are encouraging balance in others. i am so excited about this, and so enthusiastic about sharing the precious abundance that mother earth grows for us. i am of the opinion that eating and drinking the herbs in thier natural state is the safest and most beneficial method of herbal "treatment". i do not refer to, nor do i claim to be an expert about isolated components of herbal origin. for me this is a wholistic route to good health and my belief is that simple traditional methods of herbal preparation and combination is the optimal route; infusions being the first choice.
